Born on June 4, 1989 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Yu Rim Chung graduated with a BA in Studio Art from Williams College in 2011 and an MFA in Visual Art from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2018. A multidisciplinary artist, she works in printmaking, sculpture, and performance. Her work primarily deals with etymology and symbols as a site of creation, discipline as a systematic force, visibility, and control.
